Welcome to Navy Yacht Club San Diego!
The Navy Yacht Club San Diego is an element of the Commanding Officer Naval Base Coronado's Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) program. It operates in support of the MWR programs established by the Chief of Naval Personnel. The club is located in facilities at the Fiddler’s Cove Marina, on Strand Way and is a branch of the United States Naval Sailing Association. It is also a member of the Southern Califorina Yachting Association, San Diego Association of Yacht Clubs, San Diego Cruiser Association, and the United States Sailing Association. The Navy Yacht Club offers both Single and Family memberships. Membership is open to all Active Duty and Retired military personnel (and their dependents), DOD employees, US Coast Guard, and Military Active Reserve personnel. The NYCSD hosts formal sailboat regattas and Wednesday night "Beer Can Races" in San Diego Bay. You must be a member of a recognized Yacht Club, like NYCSD, to race in formal regattas. Annual membership dues are: New Member, Single $30 and Family $40; Renewals before annual expiration date are, Single $25 and Family $35.
